Background on me

I was born and raised in Miami, into a Cuban and Puerto Rican household, and I have a lot of love for my family and friends. At the age of 22, I found myself working at Ace Hardware and driving for Uber Eats, making $9 per hour. Fast forward, I am working on Wall Street while also dedicating time to making people's lives significantly easier. Here's a bit of backstory to my simulation:

Upon graduating high school with a "impressive" 2.9 GPA, I faced a harsh reality when I received rejections from every single university I had applied to.

My first two years at community college were marked by endless hours spent in the Miami Dade Library and my parents' garage, isolated and absorbing as much knowledge as humanly possible - books, podcasts, YouTube, seven days a week. Most of my friends went off to 4-year universities, and at times, I felt as if I were a failure or lesser than them. I would receive comments from people like, "Oh, well, you've got to start somewhere, right...?" or "Nice, so you're basically in 13th grade."

These comments fueled a fire in my stomach, propelling me into beast mode every day. I don't know what it was, but it just felt like I had a big chip on my shoulder to prove to myself that I had what it took to be successful. When you're a community college student, it often feels like many people think less of you or make assumptions that you're on autopilot, just trying to cruise through life. But that was so far from the truth. Most days, I would stay up late into the night, pushing myself to the point of exhaustion, just trying to get better.

Throughout this journey, I experienced the full spectrum of emotions – from the highs of achievement and confidence to the lows of anxiety and self-doubt. Around the age of 19, I used to hang out with my friend (Yoda). At that point, I knew I wanted to make a lot of money, but I wasn't sure which path to take. (Yoda) introduced me to stocks, the forex market, and investing, and it blew my mind.

From that day on, I was determined to make money online and break free from the constraints of traditional employment. However, three years later, I hadn't yet made any substantial money, and I hadn't applied for a single internship. My classmates looked at me, wondering what I was even doing. At 22 years old, I found myself working as a cashier at Ace Hardware and driving for Uber Eats, making just $9 per hour... Not going to lie, I spent a lot of nights in bed, staring at the roof in my room, just stressing and trying to figure out what I could do to better my situation.

But above it all, I kept trucking along. Every day, I developed a sense of discipline and a solid work ethic. Eventually, I graduated with dual majors in Accounting and Finance, along with a Masters in Finance from Florida International University, achieving cum laude. After several attempts with different products and websites, embracing trial and error, in my first year out of college, I successfully launched an E-Commerce store that sold over $12k worth of bucket hats in Australia and New Zealand, all while working full time.

Fast forward four years, and I had the incredible opportunity to secure a job I’m very grateful for. Currently, I'm working on wall street(more specifically prime brokerage) while also dedicating time to training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and kickboxing. My language proficiency spans English and Spanish, and I'm well-versed in the programming language Python & SQL.

Throughout nearly 10+ years, I've committed myself to studying, working, building, learning. I’m not the smartest person by no means, but my desire to be better every single day truly keeps me going.

Combining personal wins, a sh*t ton of failures, business acumen, financial expertise, and fitness, I feel equipped to be a valuable resource for decades to come.
